The CyberSecurity Department at KAUST runs many activities and events, to continuously raise awareness around the issues and importance of CyberSecurity,, and to equip users with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the digital world safely.
The TKS High School students took part in a number of interactive exhibits and ‘games’ as part of the KAUST Cybersecurity Roadshow, which dropped into TKS in August 2024.
Students were able to watch animated informative videos, take part in VR games, social engineering and Kahoot challenges, interact with the KAUST CyberSecurity Chatbot, and win lots of prizes and giveaways!
The CyberSecurity Roadshow aims to raise awareness of cyber-threats, and how it is everyone’s responsibility to be safe with devices, personal information, and online activities. By learning to identify potential threats, using secure passwords, being cautious about what you share online, and understanding the importance of privacy, everyone can protect themselves and contribute to a secure digital community.
