The KAUST tutoring program now has a cohort of 80 tutors – KAUST staff and students – who want to offer their skills and experience to support our school students. All potential tutors undertake development to achieve the National Tutoring Association award, and other trainings, before they are ‘certified’ to act as a tutor. The program is proving to be very popular and the KAUST tutors are regularly delivering upwards of 200 hours of tutoring each month to more than 100 school students. Popular subject areas for tutoring are math, english, science, languages, and economics. The program can also offer support for SAT and Qudurat exam preparation.
