As part of The KAUST School’s partnership project with Frontiers for Young Minds and the UNDP, TKS students are reviewing a collection of research papers aligned to the UN SDGs. The research papers (one for each SDG) are being written by KAUST faculty and researchers.
In addition to reviewing the papers, a group of students are interviewing the authors for each paper. A group of Grade 5 and Grade 6 students had the opportunity to speak with the authors of a research paper relating to SDG11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities.
6 papers have now been written and reviewed by the young reviewers. The Collection has been published on the Frontiers for Young Minds site, and papers will continue to be reviewed and uploaded through the 2024/2025 school year – until the collection contains 17 articles.
