Curricular and extra-curricular programs are developed and delivered in partnership with TKS, the university and the community. Programs are offered during the school day, after-school, at weekends, and during school holidays. The range of programs will continue to grow and develop.

Work Internship, Student Experience in Research
A year-round internship program – school students can undertake professional and research internships during the school semesters, and/or a four-week full time Summer program.
KAUST-TKS STEM Credential
Students undertake a range of STEM activities in school and at the university. On completion of the program, students are awarded a joint certification provided by The KAUST School and the university
Core Lab Short Courses
A range of online and short in-person workshops for Grades 10-12 to provide basic lab safety awareness and skills in using a range of lab equipment
Computer Science & AI
Partnering across the university and with external organizations to offer a range of curricular and extra-curricular learning in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence
Business/Entrepreneurship Credential
A KAUST-accredited program in partnership with the KAUST Entrepreneurship Center and KAUST Smart – offering a range of activities, challenges and competitions for young entrepreneurs
Coaching for Success
A coaching and development program for Grade 9-11 students which will help to focus their minds on potential career paths, and build skills in resume writing, communicating, interviewing, negotiation, conflict resolution and emotional intelligence.
Frontiers for Young Minds
A partnership between KEY, the Office of Sustainability and Frontiers Media. Young students become the reviewers of scientific research papers written by KAUST faculty and researchers. Students receive an acknowledgement as a reviewer of a published science paper even before they graduate from school!
Math LIVE
A fun program of online workshops for Elementary, Middle and High School students to stretch their learning and creativity in math
Tourism & Hospitality
In partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, an extra-curricular program to provide students with an overview of the tourism and hospitality industries… to consider as a future career path.
