Christopher Clarke, from the Center for Desert Agriculture, presented to the Grade 3, 4 and 5 students at TKS Elementary about the Saudi Green Initiative and the CDA’s role in the Green KSA project. The students learned that how we live has a significant impact on our planet and how changing our habits is the first step towards achieving the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals. The students were very curious and asked some great questions!
In the same week – and as Earth Day 2023 approaches – Dr Maged Saad presented to the Grade 9 students about sustainable agriculture… and how tiny microbes can contribute to solving big environmental problems. An engaging discussion followed – the Grade 9s are clearly aware of global environmental challenges and are eager to play their part in a sustainable future.
