On World Turtle Day – May 23 – TKS Grade 2 classes visited the Red Sea Research Center – to learn about their work with the turtles in the Red Sea habitat. The students learnt more about the habits of turtles, how they grow, and what KAUST is doing to ensure the longevity of the species. They also got to spend some time in the Red Sea Research Center, which helps them to understand the role of a research center in the world today, and the important work that the KAUST research centers undertake.
