TKS students from the Effect Club were awarded Eco-Hero status by the University for their notable efforts focusing on sustainability.
The Effect Club is run by TKS Middle and High school students and is dedicated to environmental advocacy and action. The Club focuses on many aspects of sustainability aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including education, energy and consumption, food choices, gardening, composting, and global understanding. Through collaborative initiatives and innovative projects, the Effect Club strives to raise awareness, inspire action, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility within the school and wider KAUST community.
